Another most hyped project of the hit trio endhiran-rajinikanth

Sankar-Rajni-Rahman after the magnum-opus ‘Sivaji’ is ‘Endhiran’. This was inintially titled ‘Robot’. The female lead is Aishwarya Rai Bachan. The fans are eagerly waiting for this as the Rajni-Aish combination could not materialise in his previous projects though Aish was consulted.

Endhiran is getting hot day-by-day primarily due to the sci-fi subject and Sankar’s directorial skills with wonderful special effects in his films. This Sankar’s 10th film and all of his films have in one way or the other influenced the mindset of the audience as well as commercially proved successful.Endhiran started its shooting in September 2008 and now it has almost completed talkie portion with a few songs to be shot.

The post production of the film has started and Rajni will be starting dubbing for the next 20 days. The dubbing artist for Aish has not yet been finalised although Rajn’s daughter Aishwarya Dhanush was considered previously. Sources say that Kanika would be giving voice to Aish.

The film has been shot in many foreign locations and a particular song has been shot with a budget of 3 crores. The climax has been shot in an engineering college, Maduravoyal.

Finally, the biggest album of this year is all set to entertain the music lovers. Certainly, the ardent buffs of Superstar Rajinikanth and A. R. Rahman are curiously waiting for the musical release of their upcoming film Endhiran – The Robot, which is scheduled to be held on July 31.

Since, it is a very special project for Sun Pictures; the producers have planned to grandiosely host the audio launch in Malaysia. Think Music has acquired the audio rights of Endhiran for a whopping amount of Rs.7 crores.


According to the sources, the list of celebrities attending this special occasion hasn’t been revealed. As of now, Silambarasan will be flying to Malaysia, performing dance for a song from this album. The recorded speech of Tamil Nadu Chief Minister M. Karunanidhi will be aired during the event following some special programmes.

Shankar’s combinations with A. R. Rahman have been chartbusters over the years and their combo with superstar Rajinikanth in Sivaji – The Boss has proved to be a significant showpiece. Pre-order sales for the audio CDs have already opened and the entire town is thriving with Endhiran mania.

Aishwarya Bachchan, A. R. Rahman and other technicians of this film are expected to take part in this event.
