Fashion publication Elle magazine has sparked controversy after it reportedly changed the colour tone of world beauty Aishwarya Rai Bachchan who appears on its cover page.
The beauty has posed for this month’s Indian edition of the magazine but her cover page pose has not been taken too well by the public as they feel the magazine has digitally lightened the complexion of the model turned actress.
The 37-year-old gained the international fame with her Hollywood ventures like Bride & Prejudice and The Pink Panther 2.
According to reports Aishwarya’s skin looks different from her normal colour on the cover page.
One of the annoyed fan posted a comment which read, “It’s annoying because it seems like lighter skin is always in fashion as if darker skin is something to be frowned upon.”
